CAROUSEL PARTY

May 21, 2012
We threw a Carousel Party for the first birthday of Adrien. Most of the decoration and food was hand made by me.  I'll explain in detail below each one of the elements we had.
In addition, we had a real carousel as the main attraction for the children. It was a blast!!
It was also a windy day, so I couldn't take the best pictures. But we were so lucky that in a week full or raindrops, we had the whole day a bright and shiny sun. Thanks God!

The hand made invitation I made as a little carousel. It has a map with an infographic in the back.

The prizes for children and babies.

The banner and one of the two mobils.

The carousel centerpiece, gift from his Abu (grandma).

The "bouquets" of salmon, roast beef, ham & cheese and caprese.

The amaretto candies, the heart cakepops, the pony chocolates and the pony sandwiches.

The food label holders were made in wood. They were given as favors for the adults to be used as photo holders or note clips.

The popcorn and candy cotton stand I made with an old medical trolley.

The carousel cakes for children. I baked them inside these empty baby food jars using yellow, blue and green food coloring.

The children's surprises content: a fruit compote, a mini bottle with candy-bottles, a candy pacifier, a bouncing ball with a horse inside, a horse finger-puppet, horse stickers, Hershey's chocolates and rubber horses.

The bouncing balls, the horse finger-puppet, the Hershey's chocolates.

The autograph pony and the ponies to adopt.

All the guests wrote their name down on the autograph horse and we save it as a party souvenir.
